Australian Made Gifts for Dad (That He Will Actually Use)

Every year it is the same question: what do you get the man who says he does not need anything? Socks, a book he will not read, another bottle of aftershave.

The gifts dads actually keep tend to be practical things they use every week. And if it is made in Australia, even better. A lot of dads care about that more than they let on.

1. A stubby holder that suits him

It is the most Australian gift there is, and it gets used every weekend from October to March. The trick is picking a design that is unmistakably him:

  • The camper or fisherman: camping, fishing and outdoors prints
  • The sports tragic: footy, cricket and game day designs
  • The no-fuss bloke: The Original, in a solid colour
  • The joker: something from the food and drink range

See the full range in Gifts for Him. Every Stubbyz holder is made in Melbourne and certified Australian Made.

2. A 4-pack for the esky

One is never enough when the whole family turns up. A 4-pack gives him a set for the barbecue, and he can stop losing track of whose drink is whose. The Australian, Waltzing Matilda and Just Camo 4-packs are firm favourites. Browse them all in Gift Packs.

3. A bamboo bottle opener

Our bottle openers are made from bamboo and rubberwood and carry the Stubbyz logo. There is a round one for the pocket, a classic bar blade, and a wall-mounted fridge opener made for the shed or the home bar. They are an easy add-on to any order.

4. The Stubbyz tee

The Original Organic T-Shirt, in organic cotton with a small Stubbyz seal on the chest. Limited sizes are left, so grab it while you can.

5. Something with his name or his club on it

For a big birthday, a retirement or the footy club breakup, we make custom stubby holders printed with your own design from 55 units. Allow 7 to 10 working days for production. Start at bulk orders.

Why Australian Made matters

Plenty of the stubby holders sold in Australia are imported. Ours have been made in Melbourne since 1972. When you give one, you are backing local manufacturing, and you are giving something built to last a lot of summers.
