The original Stubbyz brand stubby coolers are perfect for standard cans & bottles, as well as slim cans, seltzer, and skinny European style bottles. A Stubbyz for all.
In America, stubby holders are known as koozies which originally were made out of styrofoam. Stubbyz are made of neoprene and the Australian evolution of a koozie-style cooler.
A stubby was originally a short and wide bottle size typically holding 375ml. It's become Aussie slang for a bottle of beer. Stubbyz is Stubby + Oz which is how Aussie is pronounced.
We credit the neoprene wetsuit material with keeping drinks cold. People also enjoy using Stubbyz to keep their hands warm. Stubbyz have become collectible folklore in Australia.
When you think of a classic Aussie barbecue, beach day or backyard catch-up, a chilled drink in hand is often part of the picture. But for Stubbyz, it isn’t just about keeping your drink cool—it’s about celebrating Australian ingenuity, quality...
Stubbyz has teamed up with legendary Mambo artist Paul McNeil for a limited-edition collection of stubby holders. From “Beer Wave” to “Very Thirsty,” McNeil’s surf-inspired art now keeps your drinks cold and your summer vibes alive.
Australian Made Stubby Holders, Built for Bulk and Custom
Stubbyz are the original Australian stubby holder, hand made here rather than mass produced offshore. We use 5mm neoprene, the same material as a wetsuit, instead of the thin foam most cheap can coolers are made from. Neoprene holds the cold longer, keeps its shape after years of use, and takes a print properly, which is why our designs still look sharp long after a foam koozie has gone soft and faded. Every Stubbyz is made with a base, so it fits standard cans and bottles, slim cans, seltzers and skinny European bottles.
Most of what we make goes out as bulk orders and custom stubby holders. Breweries, pubs, sporting clubs, trades and event organisers come to us because we handle the whole run in house, from artwork to finished product, with low minimums. If you want your own logo, artwork or event details on the front, you can order custom Stubbyz from any product page, or talk to us directly about wholesale pricing for larger volumes.
Not sure whether you need standard or slim? Standard suits most cans and bottles. Slim is for the European style bottles. If you are ordering in bulk for an event and want to cover both, we can offer up to 6 additional styles & sizes. Ask us and we will tell you what works.

Love this cooler. This is my one. I have no major fondness for cacti or llamas, but it looks cool and people always ask about it. As long as the drinks cold.
These Stubbyz's are totally awesome! They are as described, well made and shipped very quickly to Toronto, Canada. Best of all, they hold a 330 ml Heineken beer bottle, perfectly. So cool eh! 🇨🇦
Thanks mates!
A friend put me onto the wonders of stubbie holders for carrying your bottled water. Keeps your water cool on hot days, and stops condensation from dripping in your bag, and adds a layer of protection for glass bottles. Also works for plastic water bottles, including the disposable kind. Why did I go all these years thinking stubbie holders are only for beer?!
I absolutely love my beer cooler, the shipping was a bit expensive but the product is really good quality, I have used the same photo on my Nz clothing brand page @annakingclothing 🩷
I have been looking for AGES for a stubby holder to fit my Heineken and this is perfect! Best service, totally recommend this great Aussie company, cheers 🍻
really positive experience with stubbyz, especilly as we had an issue with our order and they sorted it out straight away. The stubby holders themselves are really well made and have an awesome design!
Whole experience was great, Scottish stubby was out of stock, waited for them to be produced, sent out international express or something, thanks to Mike for that!
Having used Stubbyz at our cousins in Australia, I was delighted to be able to buy them online here in England. We have nothing like them here. They are so useful. Thank you.
Ordered 3 Subbyz for delivery to the UK. Worth the cost as the coolers are thick and have a rubberised base to stop them slipping - great when you're on a train!
